Chick Ordering Policy

1. WE DO NOT OFFER CASH ON PICKUP ANYMORE!  We have had quite a few no-shows or cancellations after chicks arrive. This harms the chicks as well as our small facility's ability to have brooder space. We want to be able to serve as many customers as possible.

2. We at MMH hatch here and also purchase day old chicks from NPIP local breeders as well. Just the numbers of the chicks wanted , we were unable to offer rare breed varieties, sexed and quantities.

3. We are a "work in progress" trying to accommodate questions and fast pick ups / deliveries. Its quite a transition from our smaller hatchery to a larger operation. Our goal to offer quality chicks at affordable prices using local farms. We have started a "TRIAL" pick up weekly calendar in hopes for customers to have a working knowledge of pick up ahead of time. However, Saturday and Sunday can be offered at any pick up if we have several orders needing delivery.

4.Hatches are Wednesday night and Saturday night so bare with us on early Thursday and Sunday morning as we clean out hatchers, sort & count chicks, clarify orders to breeds hatched.

5. We are a non-profit and we volunteer our services to help bring in these donations for our teaching farm, we use the donations for equipment, clinics, media and purchasing additional housing, shelters, stands, and feed for our demonstrations and hands on homestead training. We appreciate your donations and we will maintain fiduciary responsibility to our community.

Donations are tax deductible

It was 2/16 after torrential rains and high winds we were looking to see extent of damages when I heard the LGDs barking.....came around the house to check pasture.......found a water trough boat with a shovel oar.

SO LET'S DO IT. LET'S
