Mystic Mountain Hollow implementing changes in chick purchasing processes immediately.

We are having to make some changes in our chick purchasing process because of thousands of dollars in losses the past two months.

We are a 501c3 nonprofit and are not looking to gain anything other than operating expenses, but then again losses it what is causing us to do this.


1) we will require prepayment on all orders. Because of our replacement policy and recent losses and replacements of chicks. We will not offer pay on pickup anymore.

2) we will only be delivering when orders are scheduled. Mondays and Thursdays. We will still bring extras but the extra trips is too big or a expense.

3) we will hatch or purchase what is in demand only as our brooders have been overflowing and not able to move the chicks in a timely fashion. Not to mention the extra 10 bags of chicks crumbles every other week.


And I have not made changes to the website yet as we have had our internet down all day.


If these changes don't alleviate the expenses then we will have to stop chick sales all together.

But we will see how the changes take effect and go from there.


And just so you all know we a very limited at this time as our pickup person we get chicks delivered from was in a bad accident this week and unable to pickup anything at this time.
